Northern Lights has opened in the Energy Park! Minister of Energy Terje Aasland opened the world's first commercial facility for the transport and permanent storage of CO2 under the seabed.

A significant industrial achievement in the fight against the climate challenges of our time, and an important milestone for the Norwegian government, which has invested heavily in the Longship project, of which Northern Lights is a part.
