Carbon Removal and Carbon Engineering have plans to establish CO₂ capture facilities in Norway and are considering the Energy Park as a relevant location.
In its press release, international Carbon Engineering states that there is a collaboration with Norwegian Carbon Removal with plans for the establishment of large-scale CO₂ capture facilities in Norway.
The companies consider the Energy Park to be an interesting and relevant location for the establishment of a facility that can capture between 500,000 and 1 million tonne of CO₂ annually.
