CarbonLink

The CarbonLink project aims to facilitate a complementary facility for the reception and handling of small and medium-sized CO2 volumes.

In the Energy Park, CCB Energy, in collaboration with Northern Lights Joint Venture and other contributors, is working to provide a complementary solution to accommodate all companies wishing to deliver their CO2 volumes. This includes the ability to handle transport by road and sea in various volumes. Locally, a solution for transport via pipelines is being explored. Such a facility could be crucial for all companies that are currently exploring and considering capturing or reducing their CO2 footprint in their operations.

CCB Energy envisions a future solution where temporary reception stations are established along the Norwegian coast, preferably in existing ports or supply bases, and connected in a transport network of ships and vehicles. The method is designed to provide an efficient logistics solution that involves minimal storage volume, high movement, and as few intermediate steps as possible.
