At the Energy Park a facility for the production of hydrogen is established. The hydrogen will be produced emission-free from natural gas.
With the planned start-up in 2022, work is in progress for establishing a hydrogen production facility in the Energy Park.
Here, hydrogen will be produced from natural gas, with unique and patented ZEG technology that enables emission-free hydrogen production.
The first production phase will be based on a test facility that produces limited amounts of hydrogen. In the next instance, a production facility with the capacity to produce hydrogen on a large scale will be established. Complete CO2 capture is integrated in production.
This provides an emission-free hydrogen production that constitutes an important contribution to Norway's climate-improving work.
