By the use of new technology, a pilot plant is being established in Øygarden. The plant will be the first in the world to produce blue hydrogen with integrated CO₂ capture.

To produce clean hydrogen from natural will be of great benefit for the society as well as for the environment.
At Kollsnes in Øygarden, where the world's first hydrogen plant with integrated CO₂ capture is being established, conditions are perfect. At this location there is plenty of natural gas available and there is an ongoing establishment of a CO₂ storage facility.
